Designing Spaces That Feel Like Home

We believe good design should do more than look beautiful. It should support wellbeing, simplify daily life, encourage connection and create a sense of calm within the home. Our approach combines functionality, flow and timeless aesthetics to shape spaces that feel both inspiring and deeply livable.

We work with homeowners, property developers and busy professionals to remove the stress and decision fatigue from the design and renovation process, creating homes that feel effortless, functional and beautifully considered. We manage the design process, provide clear recommendations and help clients make confident decisions while minimising stress and overwhelm.

Where We Work

Bloomska Living works with homeowners across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, creating thoughtfully designed family homes that combine functionality, character and timeless style. Our focus is on designing homes that genuinely improve daily life.

Featured Projects

A living room with a beige sectional sofa, colorful pillows, a floral upholstered ottoman, a pink patterned rug, a stone fireplace with a large mirror, plants, wall art, and sunlight through white plantation shutters.

When our clients purchased this beautiful four-storey Victorian home in Clapham, the property had already been modernised — but the interiors felt cold, clinical and disconnected from the character of the house. An awkward kitchen layout and lack of warmth meant the home never truly fulfilled its potential.

We were initially brought on to reimagine the layouts and develop a full interior design concept that would introduce warmth, softness and a sense of understated luxury throughout the property. Inspired by boutique hotel living, we focused on improving flow, maximising natural light and creating calm, elegant spaces designed for modern family life.

As the project evolved, so did our involvement. We continued working closely with the clients through planning requirements, contractor negotiations, procurement and the full implementation of the whole house design.

The result is a timeless, layered and beautifully functional home that feels both luxurious and deeply welcoming.

Mallinson Road, London

Living room with pale green built-in shelves and cabinets, a cream sofa with colorful patterned pillows, a small upholstered ottoman with a floral pattern, a coffee table with a tray, a fireplace, large window with patterned Roman shades, and a workspace with two computer monitors and a gold desk lamp.

This project came to us through a personal recommendation from a previous client. After completing an extensive two-year renovation, the homeowner felt that while the structural work was finished, the house still didn’t truly work for the way she lived.

The interiors lacked cohesion, warmth and functionality, with little consideration given to how the spaces would be used day to day. Storage was limited, lighting felt disconnected and the overall scheme was missing the layered, considered feel the client wanted for her home.

Working collaboratively, we reimagined this beautiful three-storey property to create a home that feels both elevated and effortlessly functional. We introduced cohesive colour palettes, bespoke storage solutions, improved lighting schemes and carefully considered styling throughout. Additional seating areas were designed to create flow and flexibility, and we introduced a dedicated office space which became a calm, sophisticated environment tailored to the demands of a high-performing professional lifestyle.

As the project evolved, we also undertook the complete redesign of two bathrooms, ensuring every space within the home felt connected, timeless and beautifully resolved.

The result is a home that feels elegant, practical and deeply personal — designed not just to look beautiful, but to support everyday living seamlessly.

Mandrake Road, London

Kitchen with white cabinets, a white sink with a floral dish towel, a wooden cutting board, a gold faucet, a patterned blue and white backsplash, a floating wooden shelf with books, decorations, and a clock, a stand mixer, and a toaster.

Ashmore Court had been sitting empty for almost two years. Although full of potential, the flat was in a significant state of disrepair, with damp issues throughout, outdated bathrooms and interiors that felt cold, dark and neglected.

The existing layout also wasn’t making the best use of the space. The kitchen was confined to a small room away from the main living area, creating a disconnected feel that limited both natural flow and functionality.

Working within the constraints set by the freeholder, we completely reimagined the layout to create a brighter, more sociable and contemporary home. The entire property was damp proofed, with additional ventilation carefully integrated to improve airflow and ensure the flat would function properly long term.

By relocating the kitchen, we were able to create a beautiful open-plan living and kitchen space that transformed the feel of the home entirely. New bathrooms, layered lighting, thoughtful material selections and full interior styling brought warmth, softness and cohesion back into the property.

The result is a calm, elegant and highly functional home that feels almost unrecognisable from where it began — a complete transformation designed to stand the test of time.
